Hi, I am the Royal Bengal Tiger, one of the most powerful and majestic wild cats in the world. I am mainly found in the forests and grasslands of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. My beautiful orange coat with black stripes helps me hide in the jungle while hunting. I am a carnivorous animal and mostly hunt deer, wild boar, and other medium- sized animals. I usually live alone and protect my territory carefully. A healthy tiger can live around 10 to 15 years in the wild and even longer under human care.

I am known for my strength, sharp senses, and silent movement. Female tigers usually give birth to two to four cubs, and the mother takes care of them for almost two years. Tigers are excellent swimmers and love spending time near water. Sadly, my population is decreasing because of habitat loss and illegal hunting. Wildlife conservation programs are helping protect us so future generations can continue to admire the beauty and power of the Royal Bengal Tiger.

नमस्ते, मैं रॉयल बंगाल टाइगर हूँ, दुनिया की सबसे शक्तिशाली और खूबसूरत बड़ी बिल्लियों में से एक। मैं मुख्य रूप से भारत, बांग्लादेश, नेपाल और भूटान के जंगलों और घास के मैदानों में पाया जाता हूँ। मेरे शरीर पर नारंगी रंग और काली धारियाँ होती हैं, जो मुझे शिकार करते समय जंगल में छिपने में मदद करती हैं। मैं मांसाहारी हूँ और हिरण, जंगली सूअर तथा अन्य जानवरों का शिकार करती हूँ। मैं अकेले रहना पसंद करती हूँ और अपने क्षेत्र की रक्षा करती हूँ। मेरी आयु सामान्यतः जंगल में 10 से 15 वर्ष तक होती है। मैं अपनी ताकत, तेज इंद्रियों और शांत चाल के लिए प्रसिद्ध हूँ। मादा बाघिन एक बार में दो से चार शावकों को जन्म देती है और लगभग दो वर्षों तक उनकी देखभाल करती है। मुझे तैरना बहुत पसंद है और मैं अक्सर पानी के आसपास रहना पसंद करती हूँ। दुर्भाग्य से जंगलों की कटाई और अवैध शिकार के कारण हमारी संख्या कम हो रही है। वन्यजीव संरक्षण कार्यक्रम हमें बचाने के लिए लगातार काम कर रहे हैं।
